Default VAFC help

dont know whats goin on with it but every time i rev up and shift hard my vafc turns off and my vtec switches back to the primary lobes. i was haveing problems with vtec swtiching back cuz the vafc vtec control was set to low for my cams so now that it is at 55 on the vafc i think when it shuts off it reads from the ecu which is only 5 then swithces to primary lobes. any reason why its only turning off when switching gears hard ?????? i checked wirieing it seems alright but i dont know? the ecu is bolted down and not moving when i shift ??????????

sounds like either a power wire or a ground wire because a sensor wire would not cause the vafc to turn off

Yup, a sensor wire wouldn't turn it off, and if it was the MAP wiring it would cause the car to go into limp home mode. Check power/grounds.

You mentioned it "seems like it is making good contact" ............. did you soldier and heatshrink all of your connections?
