Default Intake question

I have a stock 95 ex and when i was lookin at the stock intake, i noticed there where two hoses coming of the intake and goin to two different parts of the engine. i wanted to know what each of these do especially since i could only see hose coming off of the aftermarket intake (though it might have been the wrong model).

one should be going to your valve cover and that one you should just put a minime filter on at the cover.

Also, wat would make this different than an intake for a 5th gen accord (mine) since the box says 98 and up though it seems to fit fine besides what i was askin about above.

how do u reconnect the hose, when theres only one bung in the tubing...

if u get a reputable intake (AEM, Injen, etc..), they will give u a piece of foam to act as a filter, once again, i will take a pic tommorow (w/ the new camera) and illistrate this point

just connect the hose that came with it to the part on the valve cover and the nipple on the intake, you will be fine

if you also dont connect the valve cover to the intake by hose, its not legal. if a po knows what he's doing, he may catch that. just connect it to the hose, or if you're **** make a oil catch can to filter out the carbon deposits.
