well, if the EF9 headlights are anything like EF8 headlights, they are wider than stock, and the main thing is the headlights use H4H bulbs. use the EF9 harness, and you need to cut up your factory. JDM headlights use 1 bulb for both high and low beam - so 2 filaments in 1 bulb. what you need to do is hook up the low beam wires together and the highs together onto the EF9 harness, and attached the 2 grounds together. its pretty simple. but before you make final connections - test the lights to make sure the lows come on and not the high beams.

exactly...colored wires matched up on mine, but its quite easy. JDM headlights have 3 wires, get lead from both your high and low beams and 1 for ground.

ok this is what i can tell, which maybe I don't have the JDM harness...

on the back of the headlight assembly there are simple three metal prongs, it appears that the headlight is rather solid in the back and so you change/remove bulbs by removing the front cover??

the prong setup is like this.

I

I I

i guess i just have to connect the bare wire from my existing headlights to these so what color wire goes to what prong???

IC...you dont have the 3 wire plug that fits the jdm headlight...I'm gonna have to check my wiring when I get home from work...unless someone here can help ya. You will probably have to get some kind of connectors to make this work (after we identify which wire goes where)

you might be able to clip the plugs off a 92-95 civic. they are a one bulb headlight.
