Water pipe 0-ring, how to install it?
I cant get my water pipe o-ring to stop leaking. I have a new o-ring but I am not sure I have it on right. Is it supposed to fit around the water pipe then the water pipe inserted into the hole? When I do this the o-ring wants to move back on the water pipe and wont go into the hole. It is such an akward position I cant get the o-ring pushed in evenly. Any tips or tricks out there?

In the groove around it.
In the groove around it.
F-me, i just figured it out. My pipe is damaged and only has one groove. Whoever had this thing off last really f-ed it up. Must have tried to get it off without loosening the other end. I dont know how it held this long. I wish I had this info about 36 hours ago!
Thanks for the help.
