Default car still runnin hot,fan wont turn on!

ok so i had the prob of my fan not turnin on a couple of days ago, i was told that i could jus jump it at the thermostat housing to see if the fan works at all, well it turned on when i jumped the harness so i bought a new fan temp switch, but after replacing it today the car still runs hot, not too sure what it could be now, any suggestions would help

well if i was to run it to a switch, i would leave it off on the freeway for sure cuz the car will not overheat on the freeway even with fan off,it would be more of a hassle to run it to a switch , but i need something at least temporarily so that my car doesnt overheat

just get a switch, mount it, ground it, run the other wire to 54 on the relay, wire up terminal 56 and 30 to battery power, wire terminal 57 to (i think it's green) 12+ going to the fan....

much easier...
