Big bump for Ed Senf: Balanced performance. I'm taking my car and my brother's car down there in a few weeks to get tuned.

Thanks for the mention.
We could definitely use a few more folks on the dyno day and this dyno will allow for better partial throttle tuning than street tuning and then DYNO at WOT.
If you are interested let me know. What are you using to tune?

Ed, I have heard good things about.
Knowledge I have seen almost blow up one freinds car and know of a couple others that already kicked the can. Wouldn't go there if I had the choice. At the very least I would know how to tune before I took my car there as a suggestion.

I've heard both very good things and very bad things about all tuner shops in GA. You just have to trust one of them and hope they do a good job. One of my friends just made 415whp@24psi on his civic at knowledge. That tells me they are pretty good at tuning. One of my other friends was tuned at Balanced and made very good power. Its a toss up really in who you choose.

That's true. I suppose the best advice is procede with caution when picking a tuner. When i tune someone's care I walk them through everything I am doing and why so they begin to learn what is going on with their car (if they care).

I completely agree with Asahi and Blykins...no matter what, there is no single shop that everybody agrees on. Depending on who you talk to, there will always be conflicting opinions. It really is kind of a toss up...
Personally, if my hatch was tuned bad and blew up, I would suck it up, get the car fixed and write off the experience as a lesson learned...of course, that is why I have two cars
