Default Southeast Dyno Day

To make it Type-R related I will be tuning my Type-R and it is a pre Expo event .

A dyno shop owner in Calhoun, GA has invited me to organize a TUning/Dyno day at his facility. They use a Dyno Dynamics Dyno which, much like a mustang dyno, is able to load the car and allow for partial throttle tuning. THis is a sweet dyno from what I saw at the EVO dyno day (Has a 4 wheel option).

He suggested we would have room for up to 10 cars to tune and 2 cars for baseline runs. He will provide a cookout for those dynoing and I am sure we can make arrangements to have a cookout for guests at a nominal fee.

I can tune Hondata and Power FC's and VAFC's and will likely have an AEM tuner there as well.

Here are the Details I have so far:

When: June 26th
Where: Dyno4mance (http://www.dyno4mance.com/index.php)
Who: Honda Owners (Any car owner is welcome to come hang out)

He is offering a great rate for us if we get 10 people togther. You can pm me for more details or to reserve time for tuning.

I should be able to come out for support. I'll have my chip by then and it'll be tuned on a dyno already. I may do a few power pulls to see the difference between the Dynapack dyno and this one that they use. Might be some interesting results. I'll either have the UTEC or ECUTec chip. I'd prefer a Cobb AccessPort one but they are on 3 month backorder.

I'll cross post this on a few import boards to see if we can meet the 10 people demand.

Thanks,

The other Trey

Thanks Trey. We have a bit of interest but I would like to see us have a decent meet as well as people tuning.

Sounds like $135/hour to tune with wideband and my help. A bit less to tune yourself.

Everyone remember this dyno can load the car so any partial throttle cell can be tuned to your preferred settings. Then tune WOT.

Also we only have about 3 poeple interwested in tubning so far. If we don't get at least 8 we will have to cancel.
