Hi guys,
On my 92 Civic LX, the power doors won't unlock... I hear the control unit give off a slight flicking noise when I hit the lock, but then the doors don't lock... They unlock perfectly fine. If i hit the lock switch enough times, eventually it will shut, but not always. I thought it might be the control unit, but the dealer wants $120 for it. I bought a 1996 Civic Sedan unit, thinking it'll work, but then it plugs in, the doors/actuators make the sound as if they are unlocking and unlocking, but the locks don't even move....

Anyone else had this problem? Maybe the switch? Thank in advance

maybe u should open up one of ur doors and take the panal off..aaybe its jus the acuators taht are damged somehow or stuck...its worth a shot

I took out the driver side door, but then it's all the doors that don't lock, the actuaters make the noise as if they are locking... i did a search, and it said that the metal lines from the locks might get bent, and would cause the issue, not sure about that, but I'll look into that.
