'bout 57 pounds with the airbag.
j/k, stock is pretty light actually,
but the weight savings may be around 10 to 15 pounds with a MOMO wheel... the best part of running an aftermrket steering wheel is the steering feel is SO MUCH BETTER and firmer compared to stock, plus the stocker doesnt leave much room to squeeze into the car if you run racing seats with high thigh bolsters.
And if I had to do it all over again, I'd probably just buy a steering wheel from the company Grant for dirt cheap insted of my super bling big dollar Momo Top Power wheel.

I'm gonna make my civic cabin look like I'm an airplane pilot!
I'm taking out that life-saving device too! Because I heard from the rumor mill that airbags don't do anything but hurt people!
I can't wait til I put this thing in! When I cut the wheel hard, you can even see inside the hub! It's great!!!

I've never heard anyone say that do nothing but hurt people, but they suck if you have glasses for sure. When I had mine go of, it almost broke my damn thumbs when the plastic cover split, and then I couldn't see **** because it sprayed the **** all over, so yes, it caused a lot more damage than it helped.

you must not be creating much power thru your motor if going for weight reduction in the steering wheel.... try stipping your interior..no door panels.... dash...just leave one seat
I have often thought about replacing my stock wheel with an aftermarket one but I kinda like the idea of having an airbag, even though I won't know if it works until it's too late (BTW: how long do they actually last? I mean, everything has an expiration date).
I believe there are some legalities in my state (Massachusetts) about removing the wheel if it has an airbag and you get into an accident. Anyone have more info on that?

you can get like a ctr or an itr steering wheel, its stock honda and acura **** with a little more bling, and at least you still have an airbag, just in case for you racers and wannabe drifters

I don't want to get drawn into a flame war, but I would like to add some correcting information.
As a private pilot and an aircraft mechanic I would like to say that airplaned do not have steering wheels, they have control yokes. Yokes can rotate about have two axes--turning the yoke like a steering wheel and also forward and aft motion--and are typically open on the top as opposed to a closed wheel. They are open because they do not spin 360 degrees like a steering wheel.

that's because real autox'ers know when a part is worth the extra $$$ and when it isn't...
