I just recently bought a 89 Prelude SI 4WS, Why? It was cheap, heh. My original plans were to turn it into a track car, After doing a search on the B20A5, I am ready to shoot myself. I didn't get the feedback i was hoping for. Needless to say I should have done this search before touching the car. The only mods I have done are Muffler removal (Rusted badly), and complete removal of intake. Oh yeah and I gutted the interior Everything but the dash, Luckily I did not start cutting out metal, which I had planned.
I am at the point now where I am deciding should I keep the car for track runs only, or should I sell it and buy a more reliable project car. I will most likely get a CRX or Civic. I know that b16's and b18's are reliable. I am pretty sure i can get my money back out of it.
Grrr This is frustrating.

hey dude i would defintaly sell the prelude, it will probably just bring you more problems along the way and will probably be harder to work on. Definatly go for a crx or like a 92-95 civic hatch those would be a lot funner to work on and easier.

 

what do they weigh?
