Carbon cleaning out of header
Someone suggested SeaFoam in a previously started thread on this back in 2002. Has anyone learned anything since then.
I bought a used header and since im rebuilding the motor, i might as well make the header comparable to the build up.
I have heard that you can tape off one end and let antifreeze sit inside of the header for a couple days and that will clean it off. Anyone have any experience or ideas?
I don't care for these comments "It will just get more in there anyways" unless this is on page 2, haha and then thanks for the bump.
I know carbon will go back into the header, however i do not know how much is in there right now, and since the whole motor is going to be clean, might as well do this also.
Thanks

any nonpolar substance will get the carbon build up gone. hell, gas will even work lol. I heard SeaFoam has awesome results without the dangers of toxic substances.
