if you leave it sitting on a table vertically for long periods of time?

its been on my table for a long time, I know if you leave it laying down it can warp, but its been sitting upright for about 2 months now

 

If you had changed its orientation about a month ago, it probably would have been fine. But now gravity, with the addition of an extra month, has warped the crank.

It'll be alright.
