Default uneeven car help!!!!!

i have a 91 civic std i bought my car and it had the eibach pro kit. it sat low on the drivers side and it was all high from the rear passenger side. i took off the eibach and put some r-1 coilovers and i thought it would fix it but it was the same. right now i have to even the driver side front with the passenger and the driver rear with the passenger rear which makes it look like a hot rod. what the hell is wrong with my car????? the frame is not bent so that cannot be it. also can it be the strut?? just wondering. also, my car has a B16 and my dad has alway told me that it is because my motor is to heavy on the passenger side can this be it?? help will be greatly appreciated. thanks

julio

I would check the bushings and also, check for any bent suspension components. Maybe even check the shocks. 10+ yr old cars tend to sag, especially on the driver side.

I made the same post awhile ago. I have the same set-up as you and the exact same problem.

The link in my sig shows what you're talking about. The first pic shows the rear driver side, which is low. It's not the greatest pic but you can see the ride height.
Then the last pic at the bottom of the page shows how high the rear passenger side is.

Eibach Pro-Kit/Tokico Blues and a B16.

87b16crx, i wish mine was saging a tinny bit lower but my **** is like ok, the coilover on the back passenger side is all the way down. it is supposed to be a 4 inch drop. i kid you not the damn edge of the fender is 2.5 inches away from the tire. on the other hand. if i drop the driver front side all the way, the tire goes in about an inch or two. i am going nuts with this car.

well i bought the car and the right rear was way higher than any other corner. so i dropped it on new shocks and sportlines and it was still a good inch higher than any other corner of the car. so recently i bought coilovers and that pretty much solved the problem. now the car sits even and im alot happier caus eim pretty narotic with my crx. but then i figure i drive a 13 year old car so i shoul;dnt worry about it. my lil bro has the exact problem with his rex and hes doesnt really care.

Got a 2k Si with Pro-kit with AGX's and and have the front driver side down a lot more than the passenger side. It 's because eibach did not compensate for the weight of the engine being more on that side of the engine compartment.
My 90 CRX Si just has the cheapy Tokico blues with the coils you can get with those and I have no goofy sagging...but then again it just has a light stock D16 in it.
If I remember right Progress or somebody have springs that compensate for a B16 in a REX...check them out.
