Did i get a good deal??
I bought a '95 CBR 600 F3 for $2000, its got 23k on it, clear title, plastic is all there, but it needs painted. Also has new tires and runs good. What do you guys think? Is there anything that i should be worried about on a bike with this many miles??
by they way, anyone got a helmet for sale? i have a medium sized head.........

Sounds like you got a pretty good deal. Don't worry about the mileage - mine had 48k miles...
The F3 engines are practically bulletproof if you take care of them, unless the bike has had a hard life of wheelies and stoppies and various other stunting done on it. You will probably hear a "rattling" coming from the bike - this is the cam chain tensioner (a common malady to CBRs) failing. You'll want to replace it with an automatic or a manual CCT. The manual one requires adjusting every so often, but the automatic one will need replacing more often.

Ive been looking all over the net for a site that sells alot of performance parts for bikes (preferably f3's), but i cant seem to find a good one. where do you guys usually shop for all of your aftermarket bike parts??
