Default help me remove bottom cushion from rear seats in 97 civic coupe

aight guys... i've had it... i can't figure out how to remove the bottom cushion of my rear seats. i have the panels out, and the top section already removed(for other projects). i removed the 10mm bolt in the middle of the cushion closest to the trunk. i could feel how the front middle comes forward and then up(ie not really attached, just hooks under the metal on the frame).. but i cannot figure out how the sides are held down. there is one spot on each side. someone said its a bolt.. can't feel a bolt of any kind. someone said tug real hard.. i tugged the F*#@ out of it and it wouldn't come out. i could feel like a u-shaped metal rod feed down into like a plastic hole but i'm not sure how to free it. the rod is attached to the underside of the seat. there is a little free play in whatever it is that is holding it down. like you can move the cushion up and down maybe like 1/4-1/2 inch before it stops.

someone please help me get this damn thing out!

thanks

Luke

^ what he said but look to the left and right when you have it at 90 degrees becasue theres some hook type things that you have to manuver out. If your not going to put the seats back in or sell them then just full the ******* out.

the front sides are just held in by plastic type plugs. i've done this a million times, just yank on it real hard, worse comes to worst, get a prybar and pry it out.

ok i tried what some people have said.

pull the back up towards the front of car, and yank the whole thing up and i just about ripped the bottom out of the cushion. like the metal rod thats attached to the bottom of the seat began tearing out of the cushion.

wtf i'm frustrated!
