Alright I think I've decided to use an amber bulb.....but does anyone have'em wired up as a constant.....I don't drive with city lights much and think that I'd rather just have'em on when my cars on...I don't want toggle switches in my interior.......any suggestions what wire to use as a hot constant all the time? dome light?

 

umm.....I think I've decided against the amber constant wiring because then when I'd turn on my headlights they'd be half/half. So...I believe I'll be just using a white bulb into parking lights. I bought mine new and they didn't have any wiring...>I just tap into the blinker bulb 3 wires and use the red for parking lights correcT?

when you say Red> constant thats what I would wire into to have them go on with the parking lights correct.....?....
I think thats the easiest way to do it....just didn't like the idea cause up until now i don't think i've ever just turned on my parking lights

 

Mine are wired to turn on instead of the parking lights. The turn signal bulbs are always off, unless they're blinking, and the city lights never blink. The JDM sidemarkers are running all the time, and blink when turning. Basically, the city lights just run all the time, and remain on when the headlights are turned on.

 

I think thats the way I pretty much want'em....i'm assuming you using a regular clear bulb as the city light...but now I have silverstars as headlight bulbs....and don't know how the silverstar lighting would merge with just a regular 194....

Jdm side markers should be off all the time and blink only when using your turn signal.

Some people like the bling effect.

 

i have my city lights wired to my parking lights , so they are on whenever the parking lights are , and i have a white bulb in there .

and my jdm sidemarkers are setup to blink when the turnsignals do ,not wired constant....

 

Kinda like five lugs instead of four.

 

ive got 5 lug , i enjoy the tremendous improvement in braking . as well as having the extra lug
