being able to rev that high and stock valvetrain bein able to take the abuse of a aftermarket cam are 2 different things. u have alot to learn young jedi. read read and keep reading. my JUN 3s start droppin power at 8700.
id go at least ITR springs but if u have a $900 set of cams a $350 investment on proper valvetrain is dirt cheap insurance.

if your buying aftermarket cams that actually make power that high, your going too need a valvetrain upgrade anyways...

why dont you move to japan if you love their parts so much? JUN isnt all that its cracked up to be. buy crane/crower.
when you go valve train, buy manley or ferrea, or cheap third is crower, but they are still a worth valve train.
somethings wrong if jun3's are only making poewr to 8700. a high lift cam made for all motor power should be making power to 9500-10200 all day long. you have a lot to learn.

Stock springs might be able to handle stock cams, but if you're thinking of anything non-stock, even ITR cams, they have more lift and you need to take that into consideration before revving that high. Like somoene said earlier, if you're going to spend for the cams, then you should spend for the valve train.
majorpayne, dont get all butt hurt cause i proved your ignorance on another post. just move on and take notes from someone who knows what they are doing.
ill check out this importreview place.

thats an ls bottom end. why dont you try to read a book. his piston speed is very high due to his r/s ratio of 1.54:1, compared to a b16's of 1.74:1. thats gonna effect breathing when the rpms start to get high. thats why the cam fell flat. then they have another comparison with an 84mm gsr engine...give me a break. the gsr has a r/s of 1.58:1, and the big bore adds to mechanical efficiency loss. why dont you educate yourself about piston speed and how it effects an engine...hell, why dont all of you do that!
that site if filled with bullshit comparisons. how are you gonna compare a gsr head vs a b16 head on an ls bottom end? the gsr flows better down low because it was built for an engine that didnt breathe well at higher rpms like the b16.
you might look at this as help but hardly anyone here actually understands an engine and how/where it makes power.

proved my ignorance? where....in the intake manifold post? you tell me what i said that was wrong, then ill admit you "proved my ignorance"
