Default PowerFolding Mirrors,How do they work

Well I followed one of the How-to's on installing powerfolding mirrors here and I just wanted to know, Are you suppose to hold your finger on the button to make it stay folded and then it will fold out when u let go of the button? Or should ist stay folded once u press the button?

thanks

I think they should stay folded once you press the button. I think that's the whole reason behind power folding mirrors, is that they stay folded in while the car is parked.

you can wire them to fold when the ebrake is pulled and open when the brake is released. this is how they were in Japan.

Poster... You need to find an actual JDM relay box to make it an easy install. Using 12volt relays to make them operate correctly is difficult for an electrical novice.

Good luck.

i think if you don't have the relay that is suppose to come with them you can pick up a relay unit from radio shack.
