there were never power folding mirrors on the US market, so if they fold they are legit.

umm, yeah, hook wires up to the right pins on the mirror and the mirror should fold in.

I tested mine MANY times without the relay. You don't need it to make them work. The relay only switches up to the wires that do the folding that way when you push the fold button they fold... push it again and they unfold. Many people get the mirros without the relay and have to rig them up like with a 2 way toggle switch - one way for fold and one way for unfold.

Is there any other way to check to see if it is besides plugging it into the car? Its raining outside right now and I dont want to go and do it

Anyways to take out the mirror and check the insides with out breaking the mirrors?

Here is a How-To for folding mirrors.

My mirrors had 2 plugs on each mirror, one was for the folding wires, the other for the power adjustment wires.

As for mirrors that manually fold in I think I recall my Mom's first gen Integra mirrors would fold in if you pushed on them. Civic mirrors do not, they will a little but they will spring back out.

Also if you just want to test the function of the folding mirrors put the red wire to the positive terminal on the battery and black to the negative. Flip flop the wires to make it fold the other way.
