Default What would be the best setup for the street

I'm looking for a clutch flywheel combo and with all of the options out there I'm very unsure of what to get. I want something that will be driveable but do a good job at its purpose. I can take a little discomfort but not unbearable driving around town. Would getting a quaife lsd be worth it if this car is mainly used in straight lines because If I'm getting the tranny work done I don't want to miss anything. Please give me your opinions on what would be best

it mainly depends on how much hp you are putting out. how much hp is it?

IMO a exedy organic clutch is good enough for pretty much all the NA apps unless you got something amazing.

Look at his signature.

Anyway I would suggest a Excedy clutch, stage 3 off ebaymotors. LIke 220 or so. It's 6 puck and is really nice i'm sure. I just ordered there stage one clutch and have no complaints. As far as flywheels i'd go with a 12-13 pound one.

my car makes 198/160 before the smsp header and cat now it feels a lot more powerful. I made 198/160 with a dc header stock cat and 2.25" inch exhaust now it's 2.5' all the way back I expect to be somewhere around 215.

backtothe topic. I would use the clutchmasters 8lb flywheel and the act hdss clutch. Thats what I have and itsvery easy on the foot andgrabs like a son of a bitch. The revs do fall a little quick but I am quick with the shifter!

not sure if this is the best but this will be my next setup.

Action Clutch 1KS
maybe a XACT Streetlite flywheel.

Clutch 101 by Rocket where i read about Action

With the whp you're going to have, I would highly recommend the Quaife. I have a Phantom Grip that quit working. Don't even consider that. Without an lsd, you're going to be wheel spinning/hopping, and doing more damage to your CV joints, which are not that great to begin with.

As far as clutch/flywheel, I would consider ACT extreme pressure plate with orgainic disc. It will be very streetable, but you may have to replace the disc once a year like I have to do. As to the flywheel, I would recommend chromoly material, which will weigh 10-12 lbs. It won't warp like aluminum. ACT, Jun, and maybe some others make them.

Make sure you post the SMSP dyno after you get it installed!
