i was overheating the other day and when i checked my coolant level it was just below full.... I topped it off with water and it stopped overheating?.....is it normal to overheat when the coolant level isnt all the way full or u guys think somethin else was responsible for the overheat?--thanks

 

Maybe without it being totally full, some air was getting trapped in it?

 

air in my koyo has been a problem for me since day one....whenever i fiddle with my coolant level or the such i always seem to get air somewhere and no matter if i bleed it or not i always get a bubble somewhere that haunts me..its the worst..

 

Yep. I too had a Koyo and my **** would overheat if I let it idle longer than 5 minutes. It was bogus man. On the other hand that radiator would stay cool to the touch after 5 hours of driving... who knows.

 

thats crazy...yea its been more of a hassle than a + for me...sorta blows cus its on my daily driver
