Default n00b question , but how come sometimes theres holes in the rear bumper?

i can see no reason of why there would be like 5-8 holes in the rear bumper? all lined up horizontally? am i just some kind of n00bish llama?

a rear diffuser... it makes the bumper weigh less and air to flow though it so it doesnt create drag. its stupid if you ask me

it's to diffuse the air. the air travels through the bumber rather than getting caught behind the bumper, creating less air resistance.

rather than drilling some ugly *** holes in your bumper, you should just buy a rear diffuser that comes on the civic vx..
