Does your guys low fuel light go on when there is still like 2 gallons left in the tank??

Because my gauge reads no fuel, my light goes on, but i can only fit 41L (10 gallons)

I don't think those lights are too accurate. In my 95 accord, the light came on. I immediatly filled it up and it took 16 gallons for a 17 gallon tank. but I think the light is supposed to come on with 2 gallons left.

Does it really matter? Get gas when the needle gets to E.

Must we debate this time and time again?

If I fill up RIGHT when my light comes on I usually only get 10 1/2 gallons in there. So I usually drive about 20-30 miles further before filling up, so usually 11 1/2 gallons, or when there's almost 2 gallons left in there.

I drive mine till it's on or below E, and I have never had to put more than 11 gallons and some change in it. I really wanna get some gas in a gas can and see how far it'll go before it runs out someday, but I'm too lazy

Of course it's best to fill up......obviously.

I routinely drive over 50 miles after the light is fully on. No problems. Your tank is a 13.2 gallon tank, so you can obviously see when you fill up and only get 10-11 gallons, there's still a lot left.

Be a risk taker and drive it, y0!

i have heard it is best for your engine to fill up no less than a 1/4 of a tank.

Less pressure on the fuel pump, and in cold weather you should always keep a fair amount in the tank to reduce risk of freezing.

If you haven't noticed as well, the gas light can turn on depending on the pitch of your car, or if you take a hard turn one way or another. I forget which way is which, but turn left hard and your gas light can turn on, turn hard right and it will turn off again, it can do this for a gallon or so from what I can tell.

Did the same thing on my civic as on my integra.
