what problems will i encounter swapping d15b

what problems will i encounter swapping d15b
into my 99 ek hatch
i know its a d-series so it will drop right in, but since it is obdI what is different about the swap, i heard i need some sort of obdII adapter that connects to the end of the d15b harness, but cant i also use my stock harness and wire up vtec? or are there other things that need to be done as well
