it is very nice and clean. i hear all that horsepower doesn't do as much as it's supposed to. i recall from a friend that it only did like 13's or something on the 1/4 mile. still a damn sexy car th0.

This months SCC is a great issue; a lot of Honda-based articles.

That hatch is a beast, the K-series is definitely the wave of the future

SCC has been so gay lately, I let my subscription run out

sport COMPACT car shouldn't include 350Z, WRX, EVO, and all the other gay cars that they started covering in 2002. **** SCC, don't let them win you all back with just one issue. **** THEM! ****** sellouts

If you want ONLY Hondas, get Honda Tuning. Enough said.

Usually a sport compact car shouldn't be pushing 30k, just my thoughts? Same reasons I let me SCC subscription run out and just buy them on a month to month basis if there's anything actually good articles or how-to's. And Super Street turned into a Japanese supercar showoff. Hell even Road and Track has a sports compact base magazine out now called Boosted or Boost or something along those lines. Now I just flip the pages of Grassroots Motorsports.

honda-tuning should be called honda-ricecakes. they alternate every month from going full blown tech and interesting **** to civics with kits and ridiculous articles

as far as SCC being limited to only honda's a true car enthusiasist can respect other great machines, even if they're not in our brand...i personally love reading about a turbocharged focus RS and then flip a couple of pages over and read an LS swap into in an EF. it expands your horizons.........don't be one of those guy's that's just gonna build one car from one brand enough of my rant now

Most people commonly refer to imports that people fix up as sport compacts. Besides, who the hell wouldn't want to read about Impreza's, Lancer's, and Z's?

You sir, are a tool.

I read SCC from cover to cover (I skit the rice commercial pages ). There is always something interesting in it. IMO one of the best car magazines out there. I got honda tuning once and it was lame something that can amuse only 12 year olds (maybe it was just a shitty issue).

Yeah this month SCC had some nice civics in it.

COMPACT cars do not weigh 3000+ lbs
I'm pissed because SCC had a great and loyal customer base, but as soon as OEMs put out SPORT COUPES AND SPORT SEDANS <---- that's what we call 350Z, Imprezas and EVOs dumbass (not COMPACT) that were of worthy mention, it's like they forgot who their reader base was. I have 5 years of SCC stacked up at my house... I loved every minute of it till 2002 brought the WRX. since then it's been CRAP! I don't care about some $30K car with AWD. I don't care about a car with tan leather seats SCC used to be the perfect blend of entertainment and tech... that's where I learned nearly everything... from the day I bought my new 98 Civic in June 98... when I first opened the pages to Options Auto and ordered my first two mods (ST springs and Razo pedals) in September 98. Damn those were good times. Now, they ABANDONED most of their cool budget project cars, and all they can write is NISMO this, STI that, and RalliArt up my bum. They abandoned me, now I abandon them That's how the business goes when you shift your focus away from your customer. And no... I don't wanna read about the EVO, the STI, and the 350Z... they are cars I can't afford, so why would I read about them?? It just makes me want them, and makes me feel shitty that I can't have them. Honda Tuning had some great issues for a while, but I never found it too... it's just not RIGHT for me. All I need now is a Helms, Chilton or Haynes... fawk magazines altogether. I get Men's Health now instead of car mags.
