JDM B16A SiR II map sensor help
i just put my JDM B16A SiR II in my 94 EH2,i noticed that the throttle body has no place for a map sensor.....so where does the map sensor go?
EDIT: does anyone have a good picture of the map sensor w/ vaccum lines?

well on the JDM motors, the MAP is placed on the firewall. So the little nipple out of the TB will go to a vacuum line that runs to the bottom of the map sensor...
If your trying to use the MAP sensor that mounts to the top of the Throttle body, then you will have to change throttle bodies. Or else you will need to buy a MAP for that style throttle body. either way, you will need to buy one or the other. I believe either system will work but if your putting it into a OBD1 or newer vehicle, then I'd buy a throttle body. I have a used JDM one for sale if you need it, *(its OBD1 and uses the top mounted MAP sensor) Or you can buy New ones from STR, Edelbrock*(Recommended), BBK, Spoon *(Recommended), etc... If you are a JDM person, then Spoon. Hope this helps
