allright my buddy gsr is detoanting when u get in to vetec and his tach jumps around all over the place when it starts to detonate the car is stock cept int/exhst weve changed the plugs wires and the cap n button it gets better for a day or to when u put new plugss in it i think its the dizzy but whanted to see what everyone says before i tell him to buy one

have you tried timing the motor?

 

the motor shouldnt be outta time this is something that slowly developed not sudden like ud excpect from tha timing being off

 

did you play with the distributor at all when you were replacing wires, and cap and stuff?

 

no its still set at at the same timing as when he got it and it ran smooth then or id put a light on it

 

are you running 91+ octane?
