Default can't decide on upgrade...

... I know its been posted to DEATH, but i still can't decide on what to drop in my 93 civic sedan. (keeping the sedan as a daily/sleeper/dragger)

its either a built SOHC VTEC

i would be getting the LSD with the B16.

and i know i could always upgrade to a B18C block later... and pull some decent power.

they prices are very similar..... but i'm starting to doubt that the SOHC is daily drivable.

If u have money to spend, go with the B-series

If u do not have as much money to spend build up your D-Series.

I would hope you know the pro's and con's of a D or B-series...

i do know the pros and cons of D and B series...
and for the same price, i could have a slightly more powerful SOHC ("fully built")
but NOT much more powerful than a STOCK B16... i mean, if i put the sme amount of effort into the B later, i know it would yield greater results....

so i think i answered my own post by saying im going with the stock siRII motor with bolt ons.


even though it would be nice to tell people its ALL MOTOR, SOHC, and 4 door.

so yeah, i think im going B series due to the amount of aftermarket support out there.
