SOHC VTEC Head Swap Complete! YAY!
I just had to tell somebody since my wife could care less! I'll post more details later, but I bolted a freshly ported/3 angle 1996 EX 1.6 VTEC head and intake along with a BBK 62mm throttle body onto my 1996 DX SOHC non-vtec motor. It's still fairly tame until you hit 5k RPM, then it pretty much rips. Now, with the lightweight flywheel, the ported VTEC head, the big bad TB, cam gear, Field SFC, etc, I'm thinking I just bolted on over 30 HP. Now I realize this might not be a Teg eater (yet) it's a HUGE improvement over the original dog motor .. the only one available in the poor hatchbacks.
Now, if UPS will ever pay me back for the turbo they lost, it will be boooooost time

Oh man, don't tell me the trannys are different. I just did the clutch and flywheel a few weeks ago. Anyway, as far as results, it seems very nice. Like I said, no B18 but hey, I can't afford that crap.
I *might* have it dynoed before the turbo, but probably not since the dyno is in another city and I never have any free time. The next time I'm over there I will probably be having my downpipe welded up!
