I have a D16A6 bottom end and a Y8 head. The head has been port and polished with oversized valves. I know that the head will raise my compression. So with the head on my a6 bottom with intake and catback exhaust about how much power do you think I am putting out?

 

To the wheels properly tuned maybe 115-120hp

 

Ok I did the compression calculator and my compression should be 10.3:1 or 10.6:1. I got a head gasket set from auto zone would that be considered OEM or 2 layer? Either way 10:3:1 compression should boost power a little right?

 

Yeah I think oem D16a6 is 9.1:1? Id get an Oem gasket
