Default how big is h22 throttlebody

how big is it and what can you bore it too. and yes I did search and found nothing. I found one post that said maybe it was 60mm tho also how big is the gsr tb

i think they are 62 or 64. i think the biggest you can have it bored to it like 68. just buy a nice spoon 70MM

its almost not worth boring the stock one. you can get a nice used 70MM for around 200 i think. 68 MM is pretty big for a stock one, and you have to have a new butterfly valve made. some guy on here does them for like 100 bucks.

whats the dif of the spoon one and a bored out stock? cant the stock not go up to 70mms or something?

Auto = 58mm
Stock = 60mm
Type-S/Euro-R = 62mm
Max Bore = 64-64.5mm

you can't bore a stock tb to 68mm

never said i was the TB master. i was just sayin. i recall 68MM as a good # but 64 works too. whatever. If you are thinking about doing anything TB get a new big one end of story.

no...if you don't have supporting engine modifications to support it I don't see the reason to get one.

i agree, the best way to benefit from a larger tb is to have other work
done like ported head and im, cams etc. otherwise it's a waste of money, imo.
