It works fine and looks very stock. I don't have pics, but there is really not much to show. Its just a different black box.

Bingo! Stock rubber intake pipe from TB to the Comptech icebox is the way to go...

 

The comptech arm is way to bling... I am glad Austin thermo wrapped mine and painted it black when he had it... looks awesome now.

on another note, I removed it as i am selling parts/car, and wth the stock box back on, car feels noticably slower.

 

the comptech arm has to do SOMETHIGN right? shouldnt it improve throttle response? thats what it would seem like

It doesn't have to do anything.

It's shiny and may look good if thats what you want.

But there are not noticable gains between it over the stock rubber hose.

Glad that you liked it, too bad you're selling it all now.

We discovered that the stock elbow would work before the intake was even released to the public, as Comptech found out when they were using my car for a test of the AEM vs Injen vs Icebox.

so did you just use the oem replacement filter and the arm with the ice box??? were any mods made to anything for good fitment?
looks great..hows it feel in comparison to stock?
