new to all motor. have a ? about setup.
alrighty fellas... my buddy is ready for some new toys. heres the setup
96 gsr
integra type r pistons .020 over
spoon type r rods
spoon head gasket
integra type r cam shafts
supertech valves
thats just the important stuff leading to my questions: can we use...
will a vafc work just fine?
stock injectors?
190lph fuel pump?
stock rail?
other stuff for the car:
aebs intake manifold
arp headstuds
jdm integra hype r header
apex exhaust.
gimmie some feed back on what you think this setup should make dynotuned.
this should be rather streetable if im not mistaken. also, what do you think the compression should be with the headgasket and pistons?
thanks guys.

spoon type R rods? i didnt know spoon made type R rods. Either way, stock rods will be more than good enough for ITR cams.
VAFC will work fine. injectors may need upgrading depending on how much hp you make. fuel pump not needed. stock rail is good enough for 500hp turbo applications so it'll be fine for any all motor application.
your compression should be around 11:1 w/ USDM ITR pistons and a spoon HG. I would go with JDM ITR pistons, which will give you 11.4:1 compression with stock headgasket.
are you getting flat faced valves? or regular valves? if they're flat, add about .3-.4 compression to the calculations above.
I would suggest getting regular valves as they are cheaper and will be good enough for you. especially since JDM ITR pistons give you the perfect CR for ITR cams..
ITR cams like around 11.4:1 CR...
