Default SAFC II for tuning?

I'm still in the decision making stages on what to use to tune my car. Right now, all I have is a chipped p28 ECU with a Kenji program. I was offered an Apex'i SAFC II for $250 bucks today brand new, and I wanted to know if it would be a good tool to tune my car with?

I only intend to run 10 lbs. at the most, so someone help me please. Thanks.

I bought the S-AFCII.

But I did this because it was one of the few viable options for me. Being that I drive a Kia, I could not use Uberdata, which seems, for Honda tuners, to be the most cost-effective alternative.

I also have OBD-II and a MAF sensor. I have been running 7 pounds untuned for more than 10,000 miles now, but I have gotten to the stage that I want to turn the boost up a bit, and cannot do it on the stock ECU's map.

(My ECU, made by Bosch, automatically corrects for slightly larger injectors. I upgraded to 17# from the 15# stock injectors, but am still reaching to limit of those injectors and want to go with 24# injectors to be "on the safe side". The ECU can't do it and I would run richy rich. My only options for trimming the fuel were the S-AFCII, S-AFC, and eManage, and the S-AFCII gives the most bang-for-the-buck IMO)

I also like that the S-AFCII will warn me when a detonation event occurs. That in itself is worth the $285 I paid for it.
