you seem like a rash individual..
and if you take that approach towards prepping/painting your rims.. they will look like crap.
if you take your time and do it right, they will look great.
but you might want to consider having them powder coated.
even if you do it perfectly, painted rims are not as durable as powdercoated ones,
they scratch/chip easier, like when little rocks fly up and hit them and such.

I painted mine. It's pretty simple. Been about 2 years now.
I have a few chips, but those are all from going to discount tires to get my tires replaced or balanced.
If you have the time then i'd get them powdercoated. Last much longer and is more durable.

haha i spray painted mine flat black...i have the factory civic rims...looks nice but chips so easy man...i got it done for ...10 dollars? yeah 10 bux for the whole set
