I have a h22a4 from a 2000 prelude. I just got my crank machined b/c it had little waves in it. Now the problem is where can I get the right size bearings for the rods and mains. My mechanic gave me the wrong size bearing. ( I'm guessing he gave me 50 mm for the mains b/c it's small for the ones I need. And since I have a 2000 crank, they're 55 mm.) The rod bearings seems like they fit OK.
Since my crank was machined, I'll be needing a different size (smaller) bearing right? It b/c gave me different size bearing.
Would the Honda dealer have the correct size bearings I need???
Please let me know. Thanks

how much did you machine off??
ANyways use your lettering on the block and crank to determine what bearings you should have had, then choose colours that are thick and plastigauge to find the right ones.
If a 50mm bearing fits on a machined 55mm crank you took off a LOT of material..

The main bearings that I got from the machanic are too small. I'm guessin it would be good for the 50 mm crank if machined.
.25 was taken off the whole crank (rod and main) I think.
Where can i get a plastigauge??
