i just finished one of my freinds swaps. everything went fine. I also put in a exedy clutch. So i start the car and take it for a test drive. I put it in first gear and im driving along then i shift to second, it revs up to like 5000 and then the car just looses power and the car is still reving... im thinking wtf did this new clutch slip...
i put it back into first and nothing.... i can rev it to 8000 and the car still wont go...
so i push it back to my house.. i try everygear and the car wont move just rev.... WTF IS WRONG!!!!! is the clutch not aligned right or something???? its a 94 gsr hydro tranny on a b16a1 motor

 

Seems like you got a problem. Does the stick move into every gear with out hitting the clutch pedal when the car is on? What clutch did you get year of car. ?

Did you get the fly wheel resurfaced, ore get a new one?

I doubt thats it.. Sounds like you have a clutch issue. Could be installation error.

 

make sure the axels didnt pop out of place, also check the axels

 

Take out the clutch and do a fresh install. It's a PITA but you may find your error as you uninstall.
