Electronic Arts is performing an open audition call for cars for the purpose of engine sounds for their next Need for Speed Underground game. This is a chance to have your car heard in the game! We are looking for inline 4's and all types of 6 cylinder cars. Sorry, no 4wd, turbo's or VTEC's (this does not mean they are not in the game). No cars over 420hp please.

If you feel your car sounds amazing, please come by the following location on Saturday June 5th, between 10am and 3pm.

I think they should have CRX's in the game if they come out with a new one, for god's sake they had NEON's in the first one!!!!!!

Nevermind Neons, that had ****** 240sx's instead of the Crx's

 

I hope this time they actually use the sounds, instead of sticking a mic in a nest full of angry hornets.

Hate to break it to you man, but the 240sx is a much better race car than the crx. I love Hondas and everything, but The 240 sx is one of the most decorated drift, autocross, and pretty much every other race in the world over the rex.

 

shoulda been there when i completely out-handled this amatuer in a 240, he thought he could take this really sharp turn as fast as me, uhuh he was in the other lane. oh yea, for a video game, crxs are gonna look better anyway, even if a 240 is a drift machine. the crx will always look better...

I completely agree. The rex is a much nicer looking car.

HAHAHAHA almost any driver with one arm and half a leg could own a 240sx in autocross. The only car that the CRX has a decent battle with in autocross is the miata.

Thats funny, last I checked.... the little civics and crxs were some of the best handling cars when done right. National AutoX champions run them (civics/crxs)... i don't know of any winning 240s... the RWDs that do well are the M3s.

 

Look outside the U.S. Nismo aftermarket is much higher outside the U.S; therefore, so is their emphasis on racing.

 

THERE BETTER BE A ******* CRX THAT CAN WHOOP ALL THE OTHER CARS ASSES IN THE GAME.

Look at the outside market for Spoon and Mugen bigger too huh?

The 240sx maybe a better drift car but it doesn't compare to the CRX when it comes to grip racing (read REAL racing).

 

So when the hell is this game supposed to be done? And will Vin or Paul be in it, cuz i just luv them to death !

How is that game? I've seen it on shelfs, but have no idea what its like. I play NFSU, GT3:A-Spec, Rally Sport 2, and I loved Tokyo racer(all of 'em). Would you recommend it?
