Default Electric water pump question.

Would an electric water pump work well on a daily driver H22? I'm not really interested in extra hp, but more torwards efficiency and better cooling.

Default Re: Electric water pump question. (2.2Euro-R)

unless you're trying to squeeze the very last bit of power out of the motor, i wouldn't bother with it. the power gains you get from eliminating the mechanical water pump don't add up to much anyway.

the factory mechanical pumps are very relaible and work well. if you need better cooling, look towards upgrading your radiator.

just my 2cents
