Default how helpful is rear upper strut bar? maybe getting rid of

Just wondering how useful a rear upper strut bar really is? I currently have one installed on my '94 GSR (in pic below), but am taking out the stereo and adding a lot more to it. I am thinking the bar may get in the way of my amp rack or sub enclosure. So, I was just wondering, how noticeable of a difference is there with or without a rear upper strut bar?
Thanks
Tim

Same thought, if your loading it up with ICE then No real point to rear bar. You will not even notice its gone.

interesting seat belt mount, and no, you won't notice any difference.

Why dont you take it out, and go for a drive? It should ouly take a few minutes. Then you will know who you fell.

sounds good, i will just remove it. anybody looking for one? also, might get rid of 4-point harnesses. i love the way they look and feel, but kind of impractical for everyday driving - some streets i can't even lean forward to see if any cars are coming.

Just to answer your original question....they are not as useful as people think. The upper strut bars do minimal when it comes to handling improvements.

A rear sway bar upgrade and tie bar will do way more for the handling of your Teg.

But, it seems like you are going more towards the aesthetics of the car, which is perfectly fine, so I wouldn't worry about having that bar in there at all.

of course i can reach the pedals. what are you talking about? why wouldn't i be able to reach the pedals? and don't worry about the seat belt position, i already discussed that in another thread (https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=855152 )
