Default New to the board

Hey all... just thought I'd introduce myself. I have a 5th Gen 1997 Prelude VTi-R (SH everywhere else in the world I believe, except Oz I think). It's done around 115,000kms and is in completely stock condition, on pretty much first everything (except tyres, stock filters, and break pads, obviously). I can only judge this by the service history as I only got the thing on 107,000kms 6 months ago.

Anyway, lately it seems to give a few "largish puffs" of light/white smoke out the exhaust when pushing it very hard - is this normal? It may only be when the oil temp is down/pressure low but I'm only now keeping a close eye on it so can't say for sure.

It also used 1l of oil in roughly 7,000kms - again, this normal? The car generally runs fine, idles fine, doesn't seem abnormally noisy under high revs, and generally seems ok.

Should I be concerned or am I just worrying about nothing?

Prelude's have a tendancy to burn quite a bit of oil so that's
nothing to worry about unless you're burning a quart every 4-500 miles

Yes, it's normal.
