New Azenis compound?
Has anyone bought new Azenis tires this year and tracked them yet? Do you find that they wear alot faster than Azenis bought in previous years(as late as last year?). I installed my brand new Azenis this April, it's daily driven, been to one HPDE, and one auto-x. Now my fronts are really close to the indicators and seems that they may not last the whole season. Has anyone else noticed a difference in wear?
My alignment is fine, I just got it done around the same time as I mounted the tires.
Actually this is my first time using Azenis, I am just comparing to my friends tires who do the same kind of driving as me(daily and track), mine just seem to be wearing out alot faster than theirs. Some people that have had a chance to compare both say they feel more grip.

I was actually thinking today that I thought I had gotten more mileage out of my most recent set of Azenis vs. my other sets. You probably just drive harder on the street then your friend does.

Did you get a before/after alignment sheet? What is the front toe set at?
Just because your car goes straight doesn't mean your toe/camber are set correctly/optimally.
Too much front toe will cause premature wear of the front tires in a FWD car.
If alignment is "fine" - then it's your driving style.

i think it depends on the course setup. i've done two dates on them, dedicated tires.
hpde 1: high speed sweeping turns, few sharp low speed turns - not much tread wear,
hpde 2: many, many low speed sharp turns - not much tread wear left.
also probably depends on driving style.
