ST Front Sway Bar interfere w/ Cat. Converter????
I'm looking to order a set of F&R Suspension Techniques sway bars. Specifically, the kit made for 96-00 Civics WITHOUT original front bar. What I'm wondering is will the front sway bar interfere with/contact my catalytic converter. Obviously, the stock motor had the cat converter in the manifold, but now with my b-series swap, my cat converter is located after the manifold collector and sits right where the sway bar will pass over.
Just want to make sure I won't have any problems with this front sway bar.
Thanks.

I have a 95dx hatch and I installed the ST swaybar set. The front one rests very close to my cat. It started making contact under heavyloads and such. I removed the lower section of my cats heatshielding. It simply unbolted front the top section. With this gone I have no clearance problems now. Just wanted to let you know.

I have a 95 DX sedan and didn't have any problems at all. Seems like every car is different slightly. ANyway, you shouldn't get any contact...and if you do, it'll be minimal. Make sure you correctly tighten/adjust the endlinks and put the center bushings in the correct place.

There was clearance if you look under the car but just a little. It didnt rub that bad. But removing the heatshield cover was quick, easy and fixed the problem.
