I need help converting neon light
i bought 2 neon car lights and i want to convert it from adapter to permanent hook-up to the power source. can anything tell me what i have to buy to do this convertion?
if your doing what i did (bought a 2 neon package from VIP that plugs into cigarette lighter) then you cut off the cigarette lighter adapter (leave as little wire as possible on the cigarette adapter) and take the two wires left over, figure out which one is power and which one is ground. then buy a switch and wire them to the switch, ground te ground wire, and run the power wire to your battery through the firewall or find another power wire and tap into that.
some switches have an acc. (accesory) prong, and id have to look at my switch to tell yo uwhat to do about that.
bryan
or you could just throw that **** away since neons are ghey!

you couldnt have said it any better
but he is asking how to do it so instead of being a jackass im gona give him the help he needs
THIS IS FROM TEAMINTEGRAS WEBSITE
Take the wires from the tubes and run them over to the fuse panel. Cut them off at the panel but leave some slack to work with. Wire them according to the diagram below.
It is best to use solder to make the connections, but alternatively crimp butt-end connectors could be used. In either case, the connections should be heat-shrinked or taped to ensure no short circuits develop.

I like the new dodge neons, am i ghey?
Hey what about LED's? I have some hooked up under my dash to bathe my legs in beautiful red light. You can't see them if they have nothing to reflect off of. Are they gay? Even if I stole them from work and soldered them up with the inline resistors and chained them together to my light switch? Come on, you know that's high tech.
