ECU NUMBERS, USDM or JDM
Is there anyway you can tell by the numbers on an ecu that it is USDM, JDM or some other wierd ecu. Im looking to do an LS swap and I need to have a US ECU to be legit in Cali, but I dont know much about ECU's I've searched and havent found anything.
i know i need a pr4 from the 90-93 integras to go obd-0 but i was wondering if the bar code type thing on the ecu says anything about where it is from. There are some numbers right before it says pr4 on the ecu and i was wondering if they held any information or anything.
im not trying to find out what ecu i need i know i need a pr4 i know where to find those numbers on the ecu im asking if there is any way to find out if the numbers on the ecu (the ones before or after it says pr4) tell if its usdm or jdm.

But what year? 1990-1991 is white plug and 1992-1993 is gray plug. So I am sure the part numbers differ between the two.
