FAQ: How do I read Spoon/Toda Gen 2 Cam Gears?
Was doing a valve adjustment on my friend's motor and he asked me how to read his gears.
on me because I had no clue how.

What is this gear set at?

its advance, not sure 2 or 4 degrees.
but anyways, the middle dot is 0, linning up the line to the left or to the right adanaces or retards it. 1 or 2 degrees. not sure how much.
i will look for my sheet that came with my todas. and let you know tomorow.

You act like yours aren't rusted

Its 2 degrees advanced. These gears read just like the STR's. Go from the center, count how many degrees you want to advance or retard.
Start from the outside, count notches of how many you want to move.
Go to the inside, count the same number.
Match the outside notch with the inside notch and you're done.
