Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but last time when i took out my friends radio out I had to go through the bottom and the sides, I took out the glove box and the knee bolster in the driver's side and went from the sides and unscrewed the radio out I found it easier to just unscrew the whole center console and then take out the radio cause the holes were much too hard to reach this is if your talking about a 2000 civic. if your talking about a late model 7th gen civic then there should some screws at the bottom and i think some on the sides, and I remember it involved ALOT of prying to point where it looked like I was going to break the center console but didnt. Hope this helps.
