Default b16a1 axle hell. (searched...)

i read all about b16a1 axles here:

http://cayotic.com/Axles.html

My problem is the PASSENGER side axle is like an inch short of the engine. Is it possible this fell out, or do i have to go have a "talk" with this kid who did the swap?

If it fell out, since its the passenger side, that wouldnt invole the intermediate shaft, would it?

Im using 1990 integra axels, and my passenger isnt completley in. Theres also a good amt of oil on the drivers side, but i think thats the tranny seal.

Please help, and I did search.

my friend had a similar problem with his car.

y1 tranny with teg axles and occasionally it would pop out about an inch. nothing was wrong just the clip wasn't holding it in, usually after a tight turn like backing out a driveway

so i took the axle out and bent the clip so it was slightly larger than it had been. holds like a charm now, no more leaks, slips, slides, w/e

good luck

id say no to a bigger axle, but you could buy the axle seal on the tranny from an acura dealer matched to the axles. i know i've had problems with seals not matching between various d-series axles.. but for like 10 bucks for a seal its worth a try

and if you bend the clip make sure you don't bend it too much! just enough so it protrudes over the diameter of the axle, but doesn't slide off
