OBD2 B16A2 wiring in OBD1 93 Civic DX
I have a B16A2 out of a 2000 Civic SI and I want to put it in my 1993 Civic DX. I was told a OBD1 GSR engine harness will hook right up and will work just fine. What I need to know is if its true and also will I need to change the distributor or any sensors, or anything for that matter to make this work? Trying to make this swap easy and reliable, any help you guys could give me is desperatly needed and well appreciated.

it is true. use that harness. wire in vtec and knock sensor directly from the ecu to the sensors and it will work. this is how i did my '99 gsr motor into a '95 dx hatch.

It will work. Only problem is that a A2 does not have a Air temp sensor in the manifold, its wired into the intake. Snip off the air temp sensor plug on the GSR harness and wire in the a2 one. Other then everything plugs right up.
