Last Night i parked my car at my bredrins hows..i went inside for about an hour or two..when i came back outside n tired to start my car ..i herd a weird like noise ..like a quick turnover. n then after that my car was just silent...i tried startin it over n over....no noise nothing no indication lights..i have si sohc engin that was recently rebuilt that had never given me problems beofre..n e ways i popped the hood..looked in for a bit tapped on some things pretending i knew what i was doing...n when i went back into my car to c if it wud start....it started right up..no long turnover noise nothing...but i looked at my clock the time was advanced an hour...n all my setting i had on my deck have been resetted...strange! i know..!! n e one know wassup?

 

not sure but obviously you lost power from your battery.

Maybe a short or something?

 

check your battery connections. And make sure the terminal is clean and have good contact.

looked in for a bit tapped on some things pretending i knew what i was doing...

that's funny.. sounds like the main relay. it under the drivers side dash. you'll have to take out the coin tray and it's a little box with a plug going in it.

 

hhaha these posts are always amusing, mainly because the lack of effort shown to the problem at the time of the problem..


1)TO check the main relay.. open both your do ors. Let the cabin coool down a lot.. Then try to start it. Sometimes the soider becomes old and briddle. and the temp change will effect them. TO fix this, simply reapply soider to the prongs on the main relay..


2) try to start your car, while someone is tapping on your starter with the end of a screw driver or somethin.

 

hmmm....thanks people ill give that a shot/ yeee now that i think of it...when i went to chek my hood...both my passenger and driver side doors were left wide open..hmm very interesting guys...thanks alot
